Additional filters to get Jira work item history

If you need to get a report for one or several work items, you can checkmark them as shown below. You can do the same to track specific status transitions.

Work Item Filter

Press the work item filter to select specific ones you want to monitor changes about:

Status Transition Filter

Press the Status filter to select specific transitions you want to monitor changes about.

For example: Backlog → To Do, To Do → In Progress, In Progress → Done.

If you want to filter transitions between statuses to a specific status, use the arrow "->" in the filter search. For example:

• -> In Progress – shows only transitions TO the “In Progress” status.

• In Progress -> – shows only transitions FROM the “In Progress” status.

Priority Transition Filter

Press the status filter to select specific transitions you want to monitor changes about:

For instance, Low → Medium, Low → High, Medium → Highest.

Assignee Transition Filter

Use the Assignee filter to view transitions related to this field.

This filter allows you to track how work items were reassigned between team members. You can see when a work item has moved from one assignee to another.

To filter transitions to a specific assignee, use the arrow "->" in the filter search. For example:

• -> Cameron – shows only transitions TO the mentioned assignee.

• Savannah Nguyen -> – shows only transitions FROM the mentioned assignee to another.
