Committed vs Completed Rate Analysis in Jira

Committed – work items or issues the team has committed to completing within the specific sprint. There are the tasks, user stories, or backlog items that the team has planned to work on during the sprint and are part of the sprint's scope. These tasks were in any status on the board at the start of the sprint, except for the rightmost one.

The "Committed" section provides a clear list of the work that the team aimed to finish by the end of the sprint, serving as a reference for the team's sprint goals and expectations. The section is shown in terms of priorities.

Completed – shows the work items that have been successfully finished and marked as done during a specific sprint. These tasks were in the rightmost status on the board at the end of the sprint.

This section provides a summary of the user stories, tasks, or issues that were completed within the defined sprint period. It offers a clear view of what the team accomplished during the sprint and is a valuable metric for assessing the team's performance and progress toward sprint goals. The section is shown in terms of priorities.

You can unpin priority to see charts without data.
