Disable and Enable SLA

In SLA Time and Report, you can enable or disable an SLA configuration without deleting it.

Toggle.png When SLA is enabled:

  • SLA starts tracking time based on defined conditions

  • goals and timers are calculated

  • data is updated in issues

🧬 Toggle - Light.png When SLA is disabled:

  • SLA stops tracking time

  • no new SLA calculations are performed

  • existing configuration remains unchanged

How to disable SLA

To disable an SLA:

  1. Open SLA configuration page

  2. Select the SLA you want to manage

  3. Find the Enabled toggle (top right of the configuration)

  1. Switch it off

  2. Save changes

How to enable SLA

To enable an SLA again:

  1. Open SLA configuration page

  2. Select the SLA

  3. Turn the Enabled toggle on

  4. Save changes

Once enabled, the SLA will start tracking time again based on its conditions.

When returning SLA to Enable status:

  1. SLA will reappear in reports, selectors, and task panels.

  2. SLA will return to Saved Views and can be displayed.

  3. Custom fields configured in SLA settings will be reinstated.

  4. Execution of all SLA goal actions will be re-enabled.

  5. SLA will now be considered in calculations for the Chart's external link.

  6. It will be applied and recalculated for tasks within the project's scope.
