How much time is spent in status In progress first time?

📝 Context: Tracking the time an issue spends in specific statuses, such as "In Progress," is essential for assessing task duration and optimizing workflows. Understanding the first instance of time spent in "In Progress" can provide valuable insights for process improvements.

🤔 User Problem: You need to determine how much time an issue spends in the "In Progress" status during its first transition. Without this information, it’s challenging to evaluate the efficiency of task handling and identify areas that require attention.

💡 Solution:

If you want to get data on how long an issue has been spent in a particular status, follow the steps below:

  1. Add new status group

There are two ways to do this:

1 — The first method involves using the Configuration button. This approach is particularly useful for modifying existing Status groups.

To add a new statuses group, click Configuration

📈 Outcomes:

  • Precise Time Tracking: Gain accurate data on how long tasks spend in the "In Progress" status during their first transition, helping you evaluate task management efficiency.

  • Enhanced Workflow Insights: This information allows you to identify delays or bottlenecks early in the process, enabling timely interventions.

  • Improved Process Management: With clear insights into task durations, you can refine your workflows to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies
