1. Pre-Fill Form Options from Jira Issue Fields
Automatically fill form elements options like dropdowns, checkboxes, multi-choice, or radio buttons with predefined values from Jira issue fields.
Example: A dropdown in a task creation form can pull values directly from a Jira Labels field.
2. Update existing issue fields for Forms in Issues
Automatically update Jira issue fields with data submitted through a form added to the issue.
How it Works: When someone submits a form inside issue, their responses can be transferred to pre-defined Jira issue fields.
Example: A teammate fills out a form, and the issue's Label field is updated with their input.
3. Create a New Jira Issue from Form Submissions
This setting initiates the creation of a Jira issue in a chosen project, automatically populating Jira issue fields with form responses.
Example: A submitted form for feature requests or bug reports creates a Jira issue with all fields prefilled.
4. Automatic Form Addition to Jira Issues
Automatically attach specific forms to Jira issues based on their type or project.
Example: A bug report form is auto-attached to all new Jira issues of type Bug.
5. Automatically Update Issue Status After Form Submission
Automatically change the issue status in your workflow when a form is submitted.
Example: When an assignee submits a form, the issue's status changes to "In Progress" or "Done," moving it forward in the workflow.
When you duplicate a form you can choose to duplicate form settings or the form without it.
