How to uninstall an app from monday.com?

If you no longer need an app or want to reinstall it, you can easily remove it from your monday.com account. Only Admins or users with the correct permissions can uninstall apps.

Below is a full step-by-step guide.


1. Open your monday.com account

Log in using the account that has Admin permissions.
Non-admins cannot remove apps.


2. Go to the Admin section

In the left sidebar, click:

Admin → Apps

This page displays all applications installed in your monday.com workspace.


3. Find the app you want to uninstall

Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate the app, such as:

  • Time in Status

  • Email to Tasks

  • Capture

Click on the app to open its management page.


4. Open the app management settings

Inside the app’s card, click:

Manage app
or
App settings (depending on your interface version).

This opens the full details of the installed app.


5. Click “Uninstall”

Look for the button:

Uninstall app

Click it to start the removal process.


6. Confirm the uninstallation

monday.com will show a confirmation message explaining that:

  • The app will be removed from your account

  • It will no longer appear in boards, item views, or dashboards

  • Some features may stop working immediately

Click Confirm to complete the process.


🎉 The app is now removed

Once removed:

  • It disappears from the “Installed Apps” list

  • Related widgets or views will no longer load

  • No further charges will apply after the subscription period ends

  • Your monday.com data remains intact (app removal does not delete items or boards)
