How to upgrade from Standard to Advanced plan

Both Standard and Advanced plans for the Issue History for Jira app provide full visibility into Jira work item history. Still, the Advanced plan is designed for teams that need more than just viewing changes.
Upgrading makes sense if you operate at scale, need bulk actions and advanced reporting, or operate in regulated environments where audit and compliance requirements matter.
Advanced plan gives deeper control over Jira history, helping teams reduce risk, save time, and stay audit-ready.

Note:

  • Upgrades are immediate.

  • Advanced plan has a 30-day free trial.

  • If you start the Advanced trial while using the paid Standard plan, you keep paying for Standard during the trial.

How to upgrade

To upgrade to the Advanced plan of Issue History for Jira app, follow these steps:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com.

  2. Under Site settings, select Connected apps and choose Issue History for Jira (Work Item History).

  1. Under Advanced edition available, select Try Advanced.

  1. Under the Advanced plan, select Start trial.

  1. On the next screen, review your billing details and select Confirm. A confirmation message appears, showing your Advanced plan trial has started.
