Setting Up Jira Issue and Email Alerts for Delays Based on Status Transition Times

At the Time Between Statuses add-on, you can set email notifications for issues exceeding the time limits.

  1. To do it, go to the Configuration menu.

2. Select +Time metric or edit the existing one.

3. If you select +Time metric, create a time metric by setting the metric name, Project, Start/Stop/Pause statuses, and a time limit. You can start setting up notifications if you have already done this or are editing the time metric.

You can set emails sending to notify people about issues where Warning and Critical time limits are overdue.

When time limits for some issues will be exceeded, people that are chosen before will receive a warning email.

At the same time, you will see the comment on the overdue issue panel with a similar warning message.
